Idox partners with Impacter to strengthen international research funding offering

Idox has signed a partnership agreement with Dutch-based grant proposal experts, Impacter to deliver its online platform, RESEARCHconnect dedicated to connecting researchers with relevant funding opportunities, as an enhanced suite of funding support for researchers worldwide.

With RESEARCHconnect universities and research institutions are supported at every stage of the funding process; helping to identify, apply for and manage funding. In tandem, Impacter focuses on improving the quality of grant applications, delivering immediate guidance and feedback as researchers work on their proposals. The product also identifies potential research partners by matching proposals to thousands of successfully-funded research projects worldwide.

Under the terms of the newly-signed agreement, Idox and Impacter will work together to integrate their complementary funding tools and expertise, alongside developing new resources to help bolster the support available for the international research community. The partnership supports both companies’ mission to simplify research funding identification and management, and make funding success more likely through the use of smart technologies.

Henk Heerink, Managing Director of Idox Content, said: “It is important that we continue to build on the success of our funding information services, such as RESEARCHconnect, across Europe and the rest of the world, investing in innovative tools which make a real difference to researchers, research offices and institutions. I look forward to a long and fruitful partnership which will help us to meet every research need.”

Paul Tuinenburg, Director of Impacter, commented: “We are delighted to partner with Idox to bring our funding support tools to a wider audience around the world. Together, we can now support more stages of the research journey, so I’m very excited about our future plans for connecting researchers, research groups and universities.”

RESEARCHconnect and Impacter will remain two separate products, however the teams behind both platforms have already begun discussions around the integration and development required to deliver the best possible service to a growing, international customer base.
