Fylde Council selects Idox Cloud to streamline its public protection services

Idox is pleased to announce that Fylde Council has chosen Idox Cloud for Public Protection to support more efficient and streamlined management of its environmental, housing, and waste services.

Idox Cloud for Public Protection is a suite of secure, cloud-based solutions that support efficient inspection and enforcement of public health and environmental standards. The software delivers end-to-end integration and automation of processes, driving efficient case management for a better customer experience.

Having previously used several different solutions for its environmental health and licensing services, Fylde Council selected Idox Cloud after a competitive tender process. As a result, the Council has condensed the management of multiple services into one streamlined solution.

The Council was particularly impressed with Idox Cloud’s ability to:

  • Increase modernisation around public services and citizen engagement
  • Offer an intuitive and user-friendly system with logical process flows
  • Provide mobile capabilities to assist with on-site inspections
  • Manage and organise officers’ workload with embedded dashboard views
  • Provide a good functional fit and offer versatility to scale across other Council departments
  • Deliver confidence around system setup, training, and data migration

Ben McCabe, Procurement Officer at Fylde Council comments:

We chose Idox Cloud for Public Protection because it offers an intuitive system that will empower our teams to deliver a far more efficient service, while also providing excellent value.

“As we previously managed our environmental, housing, and waste services with several different solutions, we were looking for a more efficient and streamlined single solution that was also versatile to scale across other areas of the Council. We chose Idox Cloud for Public Protection because it offers an intuitive system that will empower our teams to deliver a far more efficient service, while also providing excellent value. We were also impressed with its mobile capabilities to assist with on-site inspections and organise officer workload with ease. Mobilisation has got off to a great start already and we are looking forward to the system going live in 2024.”

Stay tuned for more updates on the rollout of Idox Cloud at Fylde Council and the subsequent impact and benefits of the solution.
