Electoral Services team inspire innovation and collaboration

October has been an exciting month for Idox Electoral Services, marked by three user group meetings for our Scottish, English, and Welsh customers. These sessions showcased our latest innovations, sparked discussions, and gathered valuable customer feedback.

Attendees enjoyed engaging presentations and productive round table discussions, which allowed them to share insights and connect with our team. Caerphilly County Borough Council noted, “The recent user group meeting in Wales was excellent. The presentation was highly engaging, and the round table discussions proved very productive.” This highlights the importance of collaborative spaces where users can exchange ideas.

Key product updates were shared, including the Automated Register Creation and Distribution feature, which saves administrators time by automating register compilation. We also detailed Property Management improvements that simplify data handling and keep registers accurate amid changes.

Eros Cloud, our cloud-based version hosted on Microsoft Azure, drew significant interest and was well received. It offers the full functionality of Eros with added benefits such as improved availability, security, and simplified IT management.

Vinay Neogi, Head of Product and Strategy, said, “Our October user group meetings have reinforced the importance of collaboration. Hearing directly from our customers helps us shape future developments and ensure our products meet real-world needs.”

A huge thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to these sessions. Your feedback drives us to keep enhancing our services. As William Quinton, Head of Elections Sales, noted, “It’s one thing to talk about the time savings and efficiencies our products provide, but when potential customers see it in action, it’s a game-changer.”
