Change of Auditor

Idox plc, a leading supplier of specialist information management solutions and services, is pleased to confirm the appointment of Deloitte LLP (“Deloitte”) as the Company’s auditor with effect from 19 June 2018 following the resignation of Grant Thornton UK LLP (“Grant Thornton”) on 14 June 2018.  This is further to the announcement on 29 May 2018, signalling the intention to appoint Deloitte.

In accordance with section 520(2) of the Companies Act 2006, a communication will shortly be sent to shareholders of the Company for information only in relation to the statutory statement received from Grant Thornton in connection with its resignation as the Company’s auditor.  The reason given by Grant Thornton was that challenges during the conduct of the statutory audit of the financial statements for the year ended 31 October 2017 strained the working relationship with the Board.
