Idox welcomes The King’s School Canterbury to CAFM Explorer® Cloud

Idox is pleased to announce that King’s School Canterbury has selected our CAFM Explorer® Cloud solution to support the modernisation of its facilities management operations across three sites.

Recognised as one of the UK’s leading independent schools, King’s sought a user-friendly, mobile-enabled system to replace its legacy setup and better support its estates team, comprising both retained engineers and external contractors. CAFM Explorer® Cloud was selected to help centralise FM operations and drive efficiency across key functions, including reactive maintenance, PPM, space and room booking, stock control, and compliance-related tasks.

As part of the five-year agreement, the school will use CAFM Explorer® Cloud to:

  • Centralise core FM processes across three sites, supporting both in-house engineers and external contractors
  • Improve oversight of planned and reactive maintenance activities through a unified asset register
  • Streamline compliance management, including asbestos tracking and document control
  • Enhance space utilisation and coordination through integrated room booking and stock management tools
  • Enable real-time mobile access for facilities teams, ensuring greater flexibility and responsiveness

We’re pleased to be working with Idox to modernise our approach to estates and facilities management. CAFM Explorer® Cloud gives us a practical, easy-to-use system that will help our Estates team stay responsive and better manage our estate across multiple locations.

Director of IT at King’s School Canterbury

By adopting a cloud-based CAFM system, The King’s School Canterbury will benefit from improved visibility, enhanced mobile usability for on-the-go engineers, and a more coordinated approach to estate operations.

“We’re delighted to welcome King’s School Canterbury to the CAFM Explorer® community. Their selection of CAFM Explorer® Cloud reflects a growing demand in the education sector for flexible, mobile-first facilities solutions that simplify operations and support compliance. We look forward to a successful implementation and long-term partnership.”
