Searching for an address needs to be fast, accurate and reliable, because when it’s not, it costs time and money. Developed for use by the Central Switching Service, our address search solution (Aligned Assets platform) uses state-of-the-art technology, enabling a fast, scalable, and secure address search.

Using the most accurate dataset available, AddressBase Premium, it will recognise old, historic or incomplete addresses, and will provide an accurate, up-to-date address as verified by the Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN).

The search engine driving the searches runs across three or more servers, as opposed to the standard one – making our solution highly resilient. Our address search will give your staff quick access to accurate address data from their browser, operational system, or mobile phone.

Searches across AddressBase Premium

By using the most complex address dataset, AddressBase Premium, our solution searches across 40 million official British Standard addresses, including objects without a postal address (OWPA), such as electricity sub-stations.

Searches across the simplified AddressBase Core

A streamlined, lower cost solution for smaller utilities that are interested in quick and accurate access to current address data only, excluding historic or alternative addresses.

Sub-second searching for multiple users and systems

Our address search solution will search across any element of a British Standard address, so your staff and third party operational systems can perform sub-second, predictive searches across the whole of Great Britain.
