Idox Software has an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to join the Idox Content division. We are Europe's leading provider of funding and policy information, providing external funding services to our customers across the UK and Europe. We provide content, software solutions and services at all stages of the funding process.

This role is expected to be a home-based role, with occasional travel to Idox offices (Burton, London, Liverpool or Glasgow) or alternative venues for reviews and team meetings.

The Sales Account Executive role focuses on generating new business meetings with prospective customers. Your primary role will be to get our Account Managers in front of the right people, at the right time and with the right product from our suite of funding information products and services. You will also be responsible for a portfolio of existing clients, who you will need to account manage.

The Corporate IT Support team exist to provide the first point of contact for all internal IT support queries for Idox Group staff.

We are looking for a talented, hands-on IT support specialist to join our team, with a view to further developing a career in IT Support.

You will need an aptitude for problem solving, be able to quickly get to the root of a problem, and either resolve it or escalate to a specialist.

The role involves keeping a record of all incoming support requests, ensuring all key information is logged accurately before dealing with or assigning the request. You’ll be expected to progress queries and keep the customer informed until each request has been satisfactorily resolved.

We would like the post-holder to arrive with an innate ability to provide ‘hands-on’ support, and ideally have some experience of a busy customer help-desk environment. You will be able to effectively manage your own work load, to develop your own unique responsibilities but be expected to assist the other members of the Corporate IT Support team with problem resolution.

The Application Support Engineer is an IT professional who will provide, within a team environment, technical support for Idox Health customers regarding a range of software used within the Idox Health business sector. The specific focus is dependent on the needs of the business.

As part of an IT support team, the Application Support Engineer will require both technical knowledge and ‘people’ skills to do their job well. Using clear wording, you will keep customers informed of updates to incidents via the Helpdesk and communicating by telephone to resolve incidents in a timely fashion.

The work environment requires close collaboration with other Support Team members, Implementation Specialists, Software Developers, Sales Support, as well as contact with customers.

The Application Support Engineer needs to have at least a working knowledge of SQL database management, Microsoft Operating Systems and an understanding of supporting enterprise solutions in an environment which must always meet clinical safety standards.

The role is a well-established position. Processes and established working practices are in place to ensure an induction and management of performance. Idox Health products and services are quality assured, and subject to standards, compliance and governance which require strict observance by all team members.

As part of a team, the Support Desk Officer is responsible for the triage and management of customer software queries related to Idox democratic solutions and electoral systems.

It is important to be a team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude, able to transfer knowledge between Idox and our customers and to be able to get to the root of technical issues quickly, consulting the appropriate experts, including colleagues in Business Development and Engineering.

An Implementation Specialist will guide the customer around the features and benefits of their solution, and be responsible for seeing that queries are resolved, schedules are met (hand in hand with Project Manager) and that the customers will get a flying start with our products, through careful preparation and training.
