The position would be a home based role with frequent travel throughout the UK.

The successful person must be highly organised, have a strong customer focus and a proven ability to execute project deliverables within scope, time and cost parameters. They will be a highly articulate, enthusiastic person with a keen interest in the IT sector who is willing to learn and develop their skills.

Idox is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Consultant within its Public Sector Software Division. This customer-facing role is field based, focusing on the delivery of application, business and training consultancy services to support the implementation of IDOX software solutions for customers across the UK.

We are looking for a versatile all-rounder to provide advice, consultancy and training services to clients as part of project implementations and on-going development of the use of the company’s software.

The role is ideal for someone who has worked on software solutions for Local Government with a mixed background which includes working on change projects, coaching and training and advising others. Experience working with solutions for Environmental Health, Licensing or Planning would be particularly welcome.

The role of the Project Management Office (PMO) is to maximise predictable revenues by planning,
executing and finalising customer delivery projects according to deadlines and budgets. This includes
coordinating the efforts of all team members in order to deliver projects according to plan.

The PMO team is central to delivery of hundreds of successful projects, year in, year out, and as a Project
Support Co-ordinator, you can make the role a specialism in itself or use the role to develop your
career, accruing the experience necessary to become a fully-fledged, autonomous project manager in
the field. As part of the PMO hub, you will need to be office-based, but prepared to travel, if requested, to meet clients occasionally. You will in any case be developing strong client relationships by phone and email.

and multi-tasking skills. We are looking for candidates with project administration and client services experience, who are self-starting, committed and resourceful individuals with initiative and a good eye for detail.

Idox Group Public Sector Software, Customer Support desks

Flexible start date.

This is an opportunity for a motivated person to take up an Apprenticeship with Idox. We are an AIM listed plc who specialise in software and services for the public sector, particularly Local Government.

Successful Apprentices will be joining our ITIL accredited Customer Support Desk teams, and training to become a 2nd Tier Support Analyst.

Our analysts provide high quality advice and assistance to ensure a first class service for our customers. 

Each Apprentice will be mentored by one of our experienced Support Desk Managers and will be trained in the diagnosis and solution of customer queries, which arise from a range of software applications. These are tools and solutions our Local Government customers rely on to manage public facing services smoothly.

Appointed Apprentices will also be supported by our Training and Apprenticeship Partners. They will commit to a fixed term contract, learning plan and accreditation schedule.

This opportunity would suit someone who can demonstrate an interest in IT Services and good business practise. To apply, you should have an aptitude for use of technology and be motivated to build a career in Customer Support. Along with these attributes, we hope you will bring:

·        Flexibility, with the ability to learn, share and work as part of a team
