The Executive Assistant supports our team of Executive Officers in advancing progressive and challenging corporate projects for Idox plc.

Providing information and administrative assistance to a wide range of senior internal and external stakeholders, you will be fully engaged with our senior Executive team, board members and business partners to Idox.

We would like to find a talented individual with an understanding of good business practice, interested in bringing energy, know-how and a high service ethic in support of the leadership team. As part of a team, the Support Desk Officer is responsible for the triage and management of customer software queries related to Idox democratic solutions and electoral systems. It is important to be a team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude, able to transfer knowledge between Idox and our customers and to be able to get to the root of technical issues quickly, consulting the appropriate experts, including colleagues in Business Development and Engineering.

We look for Support professionals with knowledge of, or affinity for, Elections software and best practice, combined with great communication skills and a strong foundation of IT competence.

Over time, a Support Desk Officer has the potential to expand their role, taking up extra responsibility and embedding themselves as a key member of the Elections team. The Knowledge Exchange, the information and intelligence arm of the Idox Group, delivers an information service to researchers and policy professionals in local authorities, public agencies, government departments, consultants, and academic research units throughout the UK.

The Information and Communications Assistant (I&CA) is responsible for supporting the research team and the membership team in the delivery of information/communications functions. This includes a variety of administration and library duties, including responding to customer requests, maintaining a physical and electronic document library, and preparing work for external contractors. There will also be opportunities to get involved in our social media and publishing activities.

We expect the position to be approximately 30 hours per week, over 5 days. We are flexible about when the work is done – our office is open 8am to 6pm and is in central Glasgow.

This would be ideal for a recent graduate with strong attention-to-detail, or someone looking to return to the workplace. It would be beneficial to have some experience in an office environment. Candidates available immediately are especially welcome.

This role is expected to be a home-based role, with occasional travel to Idox offices (Burton, London, Liverpool or Glasgow) or alternative venues for reviews and team meetings.

The Sales Account Executive role focuses on generating new business meetings with prospective customers. Your primary role will be to get our Account Managers in front of the right people, at the right time and with the right product from our suite of funding information products and services. You will also be responsible for a portfolio of existing clients, who you will need to account manage.

The role of Content Writer is responsible for researching and writing funding information for professional web portals, working alongside a team of experienced web content creators for Idox Content. Writing for a variety of different audiences, your work will be published to a range of professional websites and associated newsletters which focus on funding opportunities across the UK. You can be based in our Glasgow office, or be home-based, with occasional visits to Idox offices and attendance at Content team working days.

This is a role which might suit someone with an interest in Funding information and experience in content management, curation, or information management. You’ll need to be able to follow themes and reader interests, research emerging news items and be able to summarise and abstract succinctly for databases and news channels.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and successful Business Development Manager who can play a key role in growing our portfolio of European University, and other research-active organisation, accounts. In particular we are seeking a bilingual or multi-lingual individual (with English as one of those languages) with a proven track record of delivering new business within the sectors we service.

The role will include full sales cycles of activity, undertaking initial background research and prospecting, meeting prospective clients and working with clients consultatively to close sales and build long-term client accounts. You’ll be joining an ambitious business, with an international outlook and will be expected to build growth with business customers based on a combination of new business and ongoing account management of the contracts you secure.

The role sits within our Enterprise team, a multi-functional team working with sectors of significant strategic importance to the business.
