This is an exciting opportunity for a new or recent graduate of law who is seeking exposure to commercial legal work in the software industry. You will be working in a small team of experienced lawyers, who will encourage you and be able to broaden your business knowledge.

During your time with Idox, you will analyse contracts to identify key terms and business risks whilst supporting the delivery of a contract data system. The post will include data entry to capture your work.

Idox will benefit from your fresh eye and enthusiasm; we hope our intern will benefit from working in-house with an AIM listed plc. We hope you will bring a "can-do" attitude and understand that careful analysis and data accuracy are key to this role.

This is an opportunity for a motivated person to take up an Apprenticeship with Idox. We are an AIM listed plc who specialise in software and services for the public sector, particularly Local Government.

Successful Apprentices will be joining our ITIL accredited Customer Support Desk teams, and training to become a 2nd Tier Support Analyst.

Our analysts provide high quality advice and assistance to ensure a first class service for our customers. 

Each Apprentice will be mentored by one of our experienced Support Desk Managers and will be trained in the diagnosis and solution of customer queries, which arise from a range of software applications. These are tools and solutions our Local Government customers rely on to manage public facing services smoothly.

Appointed Apprentices will also be supported by our Training and Apprenticeship Partners. They will commit to a fixed term contract, learning plan and accreditation schedule.

Project Support Coordinator

About the role

The role of the Project Management Office (PMO) is to maximise predictable revenues by planning, executing and finalising customer delivery projects according to deadlines and budgets. This includes coordinating the efforts of all team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The PMO team is central to delivery of hundreds of successful projects, year in, year out, and as a Project Support Co-ordinator, you can make the role a specialism in itself or use the role to develop your career, accruing the experience necessary to become a fully-fledged, autonomous project manager in the field.

As part of the PMO hub, you will need to be office-based, but prepared to travel, if requested, to meet clients occasionally. You will in any case be developing strong client relationships by phone and email. Key Responsibilities:

Project Co-ordination and Support

  • Independently manage the delivery of straightforward projects, typically application upgrades and training for existing customers, engaging support from Project Managers and delivery teams as required
  • Responsible for the co-ordination and progress monitoring of assigned orders and work packages
  • Deal with customer requests and project issues
  • Cover for colleagues and update them as appropriate on their return

Subscription Services

  • Ensure that Maintenance, Managed Service and Hosting elements are identified correctly on orders that you are responsible for
  • Work with the Project Managers to ensure these are invoiced at the correct point in the project and then set up so that they appear on the customer’s annual renewals
  • Assist in processing the annual/quarterly/monthly renewals for subscription services.

Scheduled Training

  • Manage the publication and organisation of scheduled training courses
  • Manage the transport and return of the portable training kit between sites and back to base
  • Manage the booking of the scheduled training venues.

IT Helpdesk Technician

About the role
The Corporate IT Support team exist to provide the first point of contact for all internal IT support queries for Idox Group staff. We are looking for a “hands-on” IT support specialist to join our team, with a view to further developing a career in IT Support. You will need an aptitude for problem solving, be able to quickly get to the root of a problem, and either resolve it or escalate to a specialist.
The role involves keeping a record of all incoming support requests, ensuring all key information is logged accurately before dealing with or assigning the request. You’ll be expected to progress queries and keep the customer informed until each request has been satisfactorily resolved. We would like the post-holder to arrive with an innate ability to provide ‘hands-on’ support, and ideally have some experience of a busy customer help-desk environment. You will be able to effectively manage your own work load, to develop your own unique responsibilities but be expected to assist and learn from the other members of the Corporate IT Support team with problem resolution.

This role will be based in our Barton Under Needwood, Burton on Trent office.

You would be responsible for:
1st Line IT Helpdesk Support

  • Providing front line face to face, telephone and email IT support to internal customers
  • Providing support to other Corporate IT Support colleagues when necessary
  • Resolving support requests where possible as first line support, in accordance with agreed SLA's
  • Assisting colleagues with staff computer equipment, repairs, builds and configuration

About the role
To provide professional financial administration and coordination services to businesses across the Idox group. This includes the efficient creation, processing, tracking and reporting of financial transactions related to software maintenance renewals such as sales quotations, invoices and purchase orders as well as regular reporting, tracking, query resolution and data checking activities.
The team is responsible for invoicing over £20m per annum across a variety of businesses and is pivotal in securing this revenue through effective processes implemented with attention to detail and efficiency. The post holder will work alongside colleagues in Sales, Finance and with key customer contacts.
The team is expanding and this will provide opportunities for career progression for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with previous experience in a related role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership for renewals processes such as quote preparation, distribution and tracking, obtaining customer purchase orders, invoicing and other related activities
  • Use the Agresso ERP system and other computer applications to set up and generate invoices

About the role

 

Idox Software has an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic individuals to join the Grants UK content team. Grants UK is a publisher of print and online media for the funding community and produces a number of market-leading funding portals.

You will be responsible for researching and writing funding information for a variety of professional web portals, working alongside an experienced team.

The position is based in Glasgow with the opportunity available to work from home.

As members of the Service Desk team, our Analysts provide high quality advice and assistance to assure a first class service for our customers. The work is fulfilling; Analysts take full ownership of support requests, fully investigating and effectively progressing a request to the point of satisfactory resolution.

Idox is looking to hire an Analyst to support customers using our Document Management and Public Access systems.

To apply, candidates should be confident in communicating complex issues simply, and be methodical in ensuring that progress is made until resolution is achieved. You’ll need experience handling SQL and web application queries and be able to ensure that all requests are accurately logged and fully compliant with operational processes and procedures.

Afin de renforcer notre équipe Opérations, nous recherchons le plus rapidement possible un(e) Chef de projet Formations en ligne à la conformité (h/f) à plein temps.
Vos responsibilities:
Dans le cadre de cette fonction, vous serez responsable de la planification et de la mise en oeuvre de projets de formation en ligne à la conformité. Vous garantissez un conseil à la clientèle compétent, configurez des solutions et accompagnez la mise en oeuvre et l’exploitation de ces solutions. Vous êtes l’interlocuteur des clients pour les questions opérationnelles, coordonnez les différents corps de métier et assurez un contrôle continu des projets. Vous vous assurez ainsi que les prestations sont fournies à temps, dans la limite du budget fixé et conformément aux critères de qualité définis.
Votre Profil:
• Diplômé(e) d’études supérieures
• Très bon esprit d’équipe et expérience solide en gestion de projets
• Connaissances de base en matière de conformité
• Connaissances de base en informatique et disposition à se familiariser avec les outils informatiques de l’entreprise
• Conscience élevée des coûts et de la qualité
• Sens de la communication et bonne capacité de présentation
• Expérience solide dans l’utilisation des plateformes Web et la gestion de contenu
• Très bon niveau d’anglais ; un très bon niveau en français est également un avantage

This is an opportunity for a customer services focused individual with a strong interest in Web Technologies to join Idox Public Sector Software Division in our Cambridge office.

As a member of our national Service Desk team, you will be providing high quality advice and support to our Social Care clients, to assure a first class customer service. We are looking for candidates who thrive when diagnosing and resolving issues in a rigorous, ITIL Service Management environment.

2nd Tier Support professionals within Idox are expected to develop their skills and knowledge continuously, taking full advantage of guidance and mentorship from Team Leaders and experienced colleagues. We also expect you to contribute insight to the enhancement and delivery of customer service to our Public Sector clients.
