The Corporate IT Support team exist to provide the first point of contact for all internal IT support queries for Idox Group staff. We are looking for a “hands-on” IT support specialist to join our team, with a view to further developing a career in IT Support.  You will need an aptitude for problem solving, be able to quickly get to the root of a problem, and either resolve it or escalate to a specialist.

The role involves keeping a record of all incoming support requests, ensuring all key information is logged accurately before dealing with or assigning the request.

You’ll be expected to progress queries and keep the customer informed until each request has been satisfactorily resolved.

We would like the post-holder to arrive with an innate ability to provide ‘hands-on’ support, and ideally have some experience of a busy customer help-desk environment.

You will be able to manage your own workload effectively, to develop your own unique responsibilities, but also be expected to assist and learn from the other members of the Corporate IT Support team with problem resolution.

Bid Managers co-ordinate and produce high-quality, compliant responses to tender and manage the lifecycle of bids. This includes: identification of opportunities, qualification of bids, and building virtual teams, contributing content, highlighting and mitigating any risks in bidding, providing full responses, and ensuring the bid meets the Customer’s instructions and is submitted on time.

This is a highly networked and varied job which requires the ability to work under pressure, to challenging deadlines.

Home or Office Based, 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Ideal for skilled data analyst; would suit business/ data analyst graduate looking for "fast-track" internship.
Could be based in any Idox office or at home.
As part of a company-wide business transformation program which includes the introduction of new and enhanced financial and business systems, we have an exciting fixed term data analysis role available.  The remit of the role will be to use data analysis and modelling techniques to provide business insight and inform management decisions in the short term and support the subsequent transition onto the new systems. 
The role is expected to be for 6 months and will involve researching and investigating data sets, assessing requirements and deciding how best to analyse and present your results and findings. You will also be designing, testing and implementing models and programmatic solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and to assist with ensuring that Idox follow good commercial and business practice. You will be using supporting tools such as Microsoft Excel and possibly VBA, as well as Powerpoint and Word.  
You will need to work across a wide range of business areas within Idox to design suitable solutions and present these in a clear and concise way. Creating user documentation and delivering user briefing sessions will also be part of your role. 
You may have recently completed a degree in an associated subject, be studying for a post-graduate degree in the data analysis field or wanting to gain industry experience to develop your career.  We are looking for an individual who can use flair and innovation as well as strong analysis techniques and attention to detail to design practical working solutions and to turn raw data into usable information which can then inform business decisions. 
The role is full-time with a flexible 37.5 hour week on a 6-month fixed term contract. Some UK travel may be required but this would be by agreement, with expenses reimbursed according to company policy whether by public transport or personal vehicle.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team, reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, Idox Group.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy, working to maximize efficiency and productivity.  You will be expected to keep a consistent, transparent, commercial approach to procurement and be level headed in leading negotiations for the Group. You will be responsible for governance in procurement, and for ensuring that Idox attracts bids which bring contract and supplier value, and are won in the spirit of ethical and fair trading.

The post holder will work with functions and teams across the business, where necessary coaching and leading multidisciplinary teams in best procurement practise.

A background in Technology or Professional Services would be ideal.

The Application Support Engineer is an IT professional who will provide, within a team environment, technical support for Idox Health customers regarding a range of software used within the Idox Health business sector. The specific focus is dependent on the needs of the business.

As part of an IT support team, the Application Support Engineer will require both technical knowledge and ‘people’ skills to do their job well. The work environment often requires close collaboration with other Support Team members, Implementation Specialists, Software Developers, Sales Support, as well as contact with customers.

The Application Support Engineer needs to have at least a working knowledge of SQL database management, Microsoft Operating Systems and an understanding of supporting enterprise solutions in an environment which must always meet clinical safety standards. The role is a well-established position, mission critical for our customers and therefore rewarding.

Processes and established working practices are in place to ensure an induction and management of performance. The nature of the Idox Health business sector is subject to standards, compliance and governance which require strict observance by all team members.

Flexible start date.

This is an opportunity for a motivated person to take up an Apprenticeship with Idox. We are an AIM listed plc who specialise in software and services for the public sector, particularly Local Government.

Successful Apprentices will be joining our ITIL accredited Customer Support Desk teams, and training to become a 2nd Tier Support Analyst.

Our analysts provide high quality advice and assistance to ensure a first class service for our customers. 

Each Apprentice will be mentored by one of our experienced Support Desk Managers and will be trained in the diagnosis and solution of customer queries, which arise from a range of software applications. These are tools and solutions our Local Government customers rely on to manage public facing services smoothly.

Appointed Apprentices will also be supported by our Training and Apprenticeship Partners. They will commit to a fixed term contract, learning plan and accreditation schedule.

This opportunity would suit someone who can demonstrate an interest in IT Services and good business practise. To apply, you should have an aptitude for use of technology and be motivated to build a career in Customer Support. Along with these attributes, we hope you will bring:
