Idox Announces Partnership with Birmingham Community NHS Foundation Trust to Enhance Medical Asset Tracking

Idox is pleased to announce that Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust (BCHC) has selected our iAssets solution to track over 200 BodyGuard™ T lockboxes used in community care within the Birmingham Area. This collaboration aims to improve the management and reduce the re-procurement of syringe pumps across BCHC services.

Key Benefits of the iAsset Solution:

  • Real-Time Tracking: Utilising GPS technology, iAssets provides comprehensive visibility of BodyGuard™ T lockboxes, ensuring they are easily located whether in the hospital, care home, or out in the community within a patient’s home.
  • Enhanced Patient Safety: By accurately tracking syringe pumps, BCHC can ensure timely maintenance and servicing, aligning with MHRA standards and improving patient care outcomes.
  • Operational Efficiency: The tracking solution reduces time spent searching for syringe pumps, allowing clinical staff to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks.
  • Cost Savings: Minimising losses and optimising syringe pump utilisation contribute to significant cost reductions, benefiting both the Trust and taxpayers.

This partnership with Idox will streamline our asset management processes, ensuring that our medical equipment is always available and in optimal condition when needed.
