Idox announces Jonathan Legdon as Chief Executive Officer as company completes delisting from AIM

Idox announces that Jonathan Legdon has been appointed Chief Executive Officer as the company begins its next chapter under private ownership.

The announcement follows the completion of Idox plc’s delisting from AIM and the update of the company’s registered name at Companies House from Idox plc to Idox Ltd.

Jonathan succeeds David Meaden, who has led Idox as Chief Executive Officer during a period of strong operational progress and business development. Jonathan joined Idox in 2018 and has served as Chief Operating Officer, playing a pivotal role in the company’s customer focus, operational performance, product development and strategic growth.

The company’s transition into private ownership follows the completion of the acquisition of Idox plc by Long Path Partners, through Frankel UK Bidco Limited. As a long-standing shareholder of Idox with a good understanding of the business, the new owners previously set out their support for the next phase of the company’s growth.

As customer needs evolve, Idox is investing in customer experience, product innovation and responsible AI-enabled capabilities to help organisations surface insight faster, reduce manual effort, strengthen compliance and make better decisions.

Jonathan Legdon, Chief Executive Officer, said:

“I am proud to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer at an important time for Idox. We have a strong business, talented colleagues, trusted customer relationships and a clear opportunity to build on the foundations already in place while accelerating the next stage of our software development.”

“The software environment is changing rapidly, and that creates a significant opportunity for Idox to move our solutions and capabilities forward. As we begin this next chapter as a privately owned business, our focus remains firmly on our customers, our people and the value we create through our software, data and expertise. We have big plans to improve outcomes for customers by incorporating more AI across the business, helping us deliver improved software, more rapidly, while maintaining the reliability, security and domain knowledge that customers have come to expect from Idox.”

The delisting marks the end of Idox’s time as a publicly listed business and the beginning of a new chapter under private ownership. While the company’s ownership structure and registered name have changed, its day-to-day operations, customer commitments and service delivery continue as normal.

I am proud to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer at an important time for Idox. We have a strong business, talented colleagues, trusted customer relationships and a clear opportunity to build on the foundations already in place while accelerating the next stage of our software development
