Idox Secures Major Six-Year Contract with Leading North American Energy Company

Idox, a leading provider of Engineering Information Management (EIM) and Engineering Document Management Systems (EDMS), has secured a significant six-year contract with a major North American energy company. The contract represents one of the largest wins for Idoxโ€™s EIM division and follows a competitive two-year evaluation process.

Under the contract, Idox will deliver its Fusion P8 enterprisegrade, onpremise EDMS solution to support improved engineering information governance, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across the customerโ€™s extensive energy infrastructure. Idox was selected ahead of several major competitors, including Bentley Systems.

The contract includes a phased rollout, with the first phase successfully delivered as part of the programme. This initial phase has established a strong foundation for standardized engineering document control and the wider deployment planned over the lifetime of the agreement.

Steve Bruce, Divisional Director for Assets at Idox, said:
โ€œWe are delighted to secure this longterm contract with a leading North American energy provider. This win reflects the strength of Fusion P8 and the confidence the customer has placed in Idox following a rigorous evaluation process. The successful delivery of the first phase is a positive early milestone, and we look forward to supporting their ongoing engineering information strategy and safe, efficient operations across their network.โ€
