Idox Secures Major Six-Year Contract with Leading North American Energy Company
Idox, a leading provider of Engineering Information Management (EIM) and Engineering Document Management Systems (EDMS), has secured a significant six-year contract with a major North American energy company. The contract represents one of the largest wins for Idoxโs EIM division and follows a competitive two-year evaluation process.
Under the contract, Idox will deliver its Fusion P8 enterprise–grade, on–premise EDMS solution to support improved engineering information governance, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across the customerโs extensive energy infrastructure. Idox was selected ahead of several major competitors, including Bentley Systems.
The contract includes a phased rollout, with the first phase successfully delivered as part of the programme. This initial phase has established a strong foundation for standardized engineering document control and the wider deployment planned over the lifetime of the agreement.
Steve Bruce, Divisional Director for Assets at Idox, said:
โWe are delighted to secure this long–term contract with a leading North American energy provider. This win reflects the strength of Fusion P8 and the confidence the customer has placed in Idox following a rigorous evaluation process. The successful delivery of the first phase is a positive early milestone, and we look forward to supporting their ongoing engineering information strategy and safe, efficient operations across their network.โ
