1. Share your idea:

Check for similar ideas first

As you type your idea’s headline, the system suggests similar submissions. If you find a match, vote for it or add a comment instead of creating a duplicate. This shows collective demand.

Be clear & specific

Use a concise, descriptive headline and language. Instead of “New Feature,” try “Add Calendar Integration to Dashboard.” Precise language helps us and other users understand and support your idea.

One idea per submission

If you have multiple ideas, submit each one separately. This makes it much easier for others to vote and comment on individual suggestions.

Add context (optional)

Attach screenshots, diagrams, or documents to provide helpful context.

Categorise your idea

Select the most appropriate category to help others find and support your idea.

Still unique? Submit it!

If you believe your idea is distinct and valuable, go ahead and submit it. Just ensure you include enough detail for us to understand the problem it solves and its potential impact.

Your vote is your voice! Voting on ideas helps us understand which features and improvements are most important to you and the entire Idox local government community.

You can vote for as many different ideas as you like. Feel free to support every idea that resonates with you!

One vote per idea

To ensure fairness and equal representation, each user gets one vote per idea. This makes every vote count equally and helps us prioritize effectively.

Why your votes matter

Your votes show us the popularity and importance of ideas. While we can’t guarantee every highly-voted idea will be built, we carefully review all feedback to shape our product roadmap and development priorities.

Change your votes anytime

After review, this idea doesn’t align with our current goals or is not feasible. We appreciate the suggestion, but it won’t be pursued.

Stay on topic: Please keep your comments relevant to the idea being discussed.
Avoid duplicates: Before posting, quickly check if your idea is already there. If so, just add your vote or comment!
Be kind & respectful: Treat everyone with courtesy – that includes fellow users and our Idox team.
Keep it secure: Please don’t share sensitive personal information like passwords.
No offensive content: Let’s keep discussions constructive and free from anything inappropriate, defamatory, or misleading.

Our team actively moderates the portal to ensure it remains a safe and welcoming space for all. We might edit or remove content if it doesn’t meet these guidelines.
