As a major developer of software, we are well placed to support the UK’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) agenda. Our employees actively seek to share their experiences, and provide support and training to local communities across the UK. In parallel with our sponsorship and participation in STEM programmes, we are making several analyst apprenticeships available in key locations in 2020.
With offices across the UK and more than 600 employees globally, we can make a positive difference to our local communities. Idox has put in place a programme that gives every employee the chance work with a range of third-sector organisations. Each of our six UK offices has a community team which helps facilitate new programmes and reports on progress. We support every employee to dedicate at least one full paid day’s work to make a contribution to their community. We have developed links with two chosen charities to reduce homelessness and help with back to work programmes. We also partner with external agencies to mentor and support young people right across the UK.
We create an environment which treats all employees with dignity and respect. Our workplace is diverse and inclusive. Across our organisation we support home working, flexible working hours and back to work programmes, often with changed working hours to support working parents and carers. We also actively support the health and wellbeing of all our employees and recognise the importance of mental health and management of stress in the workplace. We have trained key team members, so they are able to provide support to colleagues.
