The Bid Team works in partnership with Idox’s Sales teams to win contracts through responding to formal Public Sector procurement competitions – completing customer documentation, specifications and commercial schedules to deadline.
The role of Proposals Knowledgebase and Content Manager will sit within Idox’s Bid Team, you will report into the Head of Bids and work alongside our Bid Managers.
Please note, this is not a Digital Marketing role, but an opportunity to build a career in Bids, Bid Management and / or knowledgebase management. On the job coaching and support will be provided by the Head of Bids and Bid Management team – we are excited to welcome this role onto the team along with the efficiencies it will bring. We will provide all the necessary support to the successful candidate.
The Proposals Knowledgebase & Content Manager will own the maintenance and expansion of a database of pre-written content to improve proposal quality and the bid team’s productivity. Having a knowledgebase of existing responses to frequently asked questions means that our Bid Managers are able to work more efficiently.
The Proposals Knowledgebase & Content Manager will need to be able to:
- Identify frequently asked questions that need to be maintained in the knowledgebase
- Take responsibility for the content repository structure and record management system
- Identify and work with relevant subject matter experts (SME) within the Idox organisation to research and develop content – this includes motivating them to do this.
As nothing can replace in person connection, ideally the person for this role will be based in or around one of our main office locations (Glasgow, Hillsborough, Theale). We are however open to home working for the right candidate (with regular office visits to meet with the team) and can support flexible working – we are a family friendly team, believing in maintaining a healthy work – life balance.
