Group Tax Manager, Idox plc

Idox plc is a multinational AIM-listed company, providing software solutions to the public and private sectors. This is an in-house tax role, interacting primarily with the senior finance team and the wider business in understanding commercial developments and tax impacts thereon.

The role combines mixed tax compliance (corporation tax, VAT) and ad hoc projects/technical queries. Well-suited to a qualified accountant from a corporate tax background, either coming out of practice into a first industry role, or indeed transferring from another industry role, this post offers the responsibility of being the principal tax specialist within the Group and provides opportunities to learn within a dynamic environment.

Idox will provide the mentoring and development you need to succeed as a member of our team, so that you can apply your existing expertise to support our business and therefore, our customers. You’ll be involved in forward planning, tax and best practise campaigns and the provision of timely and reliable management information to support Idox business strategy, goals, and objectives. You will be representing Finance, interacting with business leaders, and outside partners and advisors, and will be expected to bring insights and intelligence back to the Group. This post reports to our Chief Financial Officer and provides advice to colleagues within the Group.
