Our Enterprise Resource Planning system, Agresso Business World is an essential tool for Idox to manage our resources, cashflow, project management, purchase order system and HR essentials such as holiday planning and information management.

The Agresso Support Assistant will work alongside our Agresso Project Manager and Agresso Senior Support Analyst on all aspects of supporting and maintaining the system. This will involve providing 1st line support and administration for the Idox core finance module, and also Human Resources, Project Costing and Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Subscription modules.  The role involves responding to a wide variety of user queries, which cover access control and requests, technical queries, process guidelines, revenue recognition, system checks and work orders and approval processes, working on our Project Management milestones and content.

Agresso provides us with a consistent and reliable audit trail for all significant deployments and costs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent customer facing skills, be a logical thinker with an eye for detail.  They should also have confident Excel skills along with a basic understanding of accounting and book-keeping principles. When you arrive, you’ll need a willingness to learn, because you’ll need to understand Idox values and processes in detail to provide the support, and also to be able to collaborate with the team and wider user base to improve the system for the benefit of the company.

The Agresso team is a small, tight knit, expert team, providing basic user support but also planned improvement work to assist with the execution of company strategy and streamlining, to achieve simple efficiency. You’ll need to bring collaborative skills, to be able to team with any Idox colleague in need, but also be happy to work on your own initiative, having an adaptable and flexible attitude. As your expertise accrues, you’ll be able to take on further responsibilities and variety.

Idox will provide the mentoring and development you need to succeed as a member of our team, so that you can apply your existing expertise to support the Agresso user base. You’ll be involved in investigating system issues, finding a solution to the issue, testing and then implementing that solution.
