Following a competitive procurement process, the Royal College of Music (RCM) has rolled out Idox’s CAFM Explorer to streamline the management of its operations and ensure the safety of its facilities for the hundreds of students and staff visiting every day.
The award-winning software is being used successfully to manage all aspects of RCM’s estate including planned and reactive maintenance, with the team better able to schedule, monitor and review work orders via the solution’s Help Desk functionality.
RCM’s adoption enhances CAFM Explorer’s support across the education sector, with several institutions – including Oldham College, Yeovil College and the University of The Bahamas – already experiencing time and efficiency savings following the solution’s rollout.
Claire Visser, Director of CAFM Explorer said: “CAFM Explorer is already playing a pivotal role across the education sector, helping universities, schools and colleges to ensure compliance while also helping teams keep up with the day-to-day running of their facilities. Being able to manage estate-wide operations from a single solution, as well as automating planned tasks, generates significant savings and simplifies the process to ultimately help organisations drive productivity and realise efficiencies.”
