IT Helpdesk Technician
The Corporate IT Support team exist to provide the first point of contact for all internal IT support queries for Idox Group staff. We are looking for three talented, hands-on IT support specialists to join our team, with a view to further developing a career in IT Support. You will need an aptitude for problem solving, be able to quickly get to the root of a problem, and either resolve it or escalate to a specialist.
The role involves keeping a record of all incoming support requests, ensuring all key information is logged accurately before dealing with or assigning the request. You’ll be expected to progress queries and keep the customer informed until each request has been satisfactorily resolved. We would like the post-holder to arrive with an innate ability to provide ‘hands-on’ support, and ideally have some experience of a busy customer help-desk environment. You will be able to effectively manage your own work load, to develop your own unique responsibilities but be expected to assist and learn from the other members of the Corporate IT Support team with problem resolution.
Our new hires will be based in Burton-on-Trent, Liverpool or London.
