New unitary chooses IDOX

Cheshire West and Chester Council (CW&C) has awarded IDOX the contract to deliver its' Land, Property and Regulatory Management systems.

CW&C was formed in April 2009 from the merger of Chester City Council, Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council, Vale Royal Borough Council and Cheshire County Council.

IDOX will deliver software and services to help the new unitary council deliver, to its' 328,000 citizens, services as diverse as Planning, Building Control, Land Charges, Licensing, Trading Standards and Environmental Health.

Chris Hindle, Head of Planning and Transport at CW&C said:
