IDOX supports planned customer service improvements in Broads Authority
Published 28 June 2010
The Broads Authority has added IDOX Public Access and Consultee Access to their IDOX Planning solution portfolio to support their customer service improvement programme.
IDOX Public Access is an online, self service solution enabling members of the public, councillors and other stakeholders to be automatically notified of planning applications affecting them, whilst IDOX Consultee Access provides a 100% electronic alternative to the manually intensive process of consulting on planning applications.
The Broads Authority has, at the same time, purchased IDOX Enterprise to automate the allocation and re-allocation of incoming tasks, as well as providing a visual representation of workload and performance.
The Broads Authority see IDOX Enterprise as a way improving the visibility of overall workload and changing the concept of management reporting to a dynamic 'real time' indicators of performance trends, rather than historic views of achievement. In this way, they hope to be able to tune workload allocation to meet performance targets and make better use of available resources.
The plan is to improve services by automating the flow of relevant information to all stakeholders and provide significantly improved visibility of workload and performance related to agreed targets.
